Celebrating AAPI Arts and Culture

DTLA AAPI Alliance celebrates the creativity, heritage, and living traditions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities through arts and cultural programming in Downtown Los Angeles. We believe the arts are a powerful way to tell our stories, honor where we come from, and create connection across generations and communities.

Our programs showcase AAPI artists, performers, cultural bearers, and emerging creative voices through live performances, exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, festivals, markets, and public gatherings. From traditional practices to contemporary expression, we create opportunities for audiences to experience the breadth and diversity of AAPI culture.

We also work to make Downtown Los Angeles a more visible and welcoming home for AAPI creativity. By partnering with artists, community organizations, local businesses, and cultural institutions, we activate shared spaces with programming that invites people to gather, learn, celebrate, and participate.
